Go find your biggest, baddest, worst noise polluted image and let Noiseware run it's magic on it. The community version doesn't let you change too much, but you can play with the Noise Level and Noise Suppression sliders to tweak the output. Go here and download their community version They also have batch capabilities, so that it can apply noise reduction to many photo's. They offer a standalone version, a PS plugin version, or a version that contains both the standalone and PS plugin. It does a much better job than Lightroom, and if you feel you need more, they offer a standard and professional version for an affordable amount. If you don't have the money to buy one, and can live with the limitations, Imagenomic offers a free, community version of their noise reduction sofware. There are a pleathora of 3rd party noise reduction tools out there. In fact, I find DPP is able to handle noise better than Lightroom. ![]() I find that Lightroom has rather week noise reduction performance. I find myself reaching out to other tools to do those functions.
